Filters

Changing the filters on your Tractor, Combine, Self Propelled Swather, Cotton Picker of other Agricultural Machinery is one of the wisest investments in time and money a farmer or rancher can make. Tired Iron carries a large inventory of filters ready to ship directly to your door. We are adding new filters to our online offering all the time for new models of machinery. Browse our selection of filters using the check boxes to the left to find our filter today.

When changing Oil Filters always lubricate the gasket before installing. Dry rubber can adhere to the mounting surface and be very difficult to remove at the next oil change interval.

When changing Fuel Filters always bleed the air from the filter after it is installed. Most ag engines will not self prime, you will save yourself a lot of grief by making sure all the air is purged from the new filter.

When changing air filters, only change the secondary filter if it is visibly dirty and only remove it if it will be changed. Secondary filters are meant to be a safety element for a failed primary filter and also a measure of insurance when changing the primary.
